[FXGEAR] Bronx – Effects + Music introduce

This Bronx – Effects pack is the base of the whole set. It included 14 effects and 2 advanced stylized tools with some useful presets (about 20) which allows creating unlimited variations of unique looks.

BRONX series is a set of 3 FCPX Plugins packs. There are Bronx – Effects, Bronx – Transitions, and the Bronx – Titles packs. All of them are present on MotionArray in corresponding sections of the site. Combining these customizable plugins in your FCPX project allows achieving a very stylish old-school video effect suitable for music videos, blogging, and even slideshows created from the scratch with no additional plugins needed.

The Bronx have premiered their music video for their song “Side Effects” below. The band had Christian Jacobs (of The Aquabats, etc. fame) direct the video, which took inspiration from the controversial Sega CD game ‘Night Trap‘. Frontman Matt Caughthran commented:

The idea is loosely based on an old video game called ‘Night Trap’ where aliens invade a sexy slumber party and you have this cool, room-to-room, live-action scenario in which you try to save the day. The song is about dealing with the side effects of life as a musician/artist; all the things you never saw coming. After finishing a recent UK tour, we flew into Philly to rehearse and shoot thevideo in two days, and the excitement and inspiration, mixed with delirium and exhaustion, only seemed to add to the authenticity of the song’s lyrical content. This video is truly a labor of love, just like music/art/life should be.
